Such a weird experience; when I got to Epcot, they had me drive up onto the grass right by where the buses load. Most of the parking lots had been used for the Wine & Dine races; VIP parking indeed!
If you want a little show, get to rope drop at Epcot and you can enjoy a percussion performance from the JAMMitors!
I walked with purpose to get on Soarin' with no wait!
After riding Soarin', I planned to get a cronut for breakfast; however, the booth where they were serving cronuts wasn't open until 11 am. Don't despair though!
I decided to visit Joy and Sadness again!
They're so cute and the meet and greet area is adorable!
I wished I'd brought my tripod in to get a long-exposure picture of this fountain - next time!
Food and Wine in full swing! This was visit 3 toward getting my cutting board!
I can never take too many pictures of Spaceship Earth!
Here I am!
After checking out a few shops, I stopped by McDonalds for some breakfast and picked up Erica. We headed over to Disney Springs for the day!
This was the first time I'd been in the World of Disney store since they completely renovated. I kid-you-not, Erica and I had to text each other while in the store to find each other. It's enormous and amazing.
We enjoyed making stops at several stores at Disney Springs and I forced Erica to take a picture by some Run Disney banners.
She did it! Race one done; she was going to be running a longer one the next morning!!
We had planned a few things for our day at Disney Springs, including pre-purchasing movie tickets to see Bohemian Rhapsody. We both really liked it; the movie was funnier than I thought it would be. After the movie, we went to dinner at Blaze Pizza - always a good choice!
After we finished up dinner, we headed back to Pop because again, Erica was running a race the next morning!
Since this blog has a little less content, I decided to go ahead and show you what swag I got!
Going to try to do this clockwise - starting at the top.
1. Return to Sleepy Hollow Swag (lunch box, badge, pin, cup)
2. Hitchhiking Ghosts by Jim Shore
3. Birthday badge and keys to the kingdom commemorative pin
4. Passholder cutting board and wine and dine magnet
5. Pin: Toy Story/Haunted Mansion mashup - "a toy will follow you home"
6. Pin: Special Halloween 2018 day - The Nightmare Before Christmas themed
7. Pin: Partners Statue
8. More pins - I got a pin pack and started doing some trading. It was cool to trade for a pin of the rooster, named Alan-a-Dale (oo-de-lally)
9. Keychain - this is of the plaque that says, "here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy"
10. Smoky the Bear magnet (found at Fort Wilderness)
11. Hocus Pocus 25th anniversary mug
12. Halloween Party t-shirt
I know the pins are hard to see but I'm also planning a future blog post that will show all of the pins I've collected over the past 2-3 years since I got into it.
On the next blog will sadly be my last day at Disney for this trip; but don't worry, I would return in about two weeks!
